If you email or call us, we hold what you send: your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about your enquiry. We keep it so we can reply and, if we work together, so we have a record of the engagement.

We collect analytics about how this site is used through Google Analytics. That includes pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser, and how you arrived. We also record whether a visit arrived from an AI assistant, using the referrer or campaign parameters on the request.

We do not collect payment details through this website and we do not run advertising trackers on it.

For enquiries, our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us and expect a reply. For analytics, it is consent, which you give or withhold through the cookie banner and can change at any time.

If we go on to work together, our basis becomes performance of a contract, and for records we are legally required to keep, legal obligation.

Vercel hosts this site and processes request logs. Google processes analytics data. Resend delivers email sent from the site. Each is a processor acting on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after two years. Records relating to actual engagements are kept for seven years, which is what UK tax law requires. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings, currently fourteen months.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict processing. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Older versions are in the site's git history, which is a slightly unusual thing to say in a privacy policy, but it means the record is genuinely auditable.
