Genius Digital Labs designs and builds complete products: mobile apps, the APIs behind them and the operational tooling around them. We have taken platforms from first sketch to the App Store and Google Play, including a computer-vision sports analytics app and a multi-tenant field operations platform now running live with real drivers and vehicles.
We build the whole stack because the seams between design, mobile and backend are where products usually fail. One studio holding all three means the interface a driver taps one-handed and the database schema behind it were decided together.
We also tend to keep going after launch, since launch is where the interesting part starts and where most agencies hand over and leave.
Questions.
- Can you take over an existing product?
- Yes, and we have. PadX was rebuilt end to end: new backend, re-engineered camera pipeline, a new player app and a court-side kiosk app, all shipped to both stores.
- Who owns the code?
- You do. It lives in your repository under your account from the first commit.
- Do you do discovery before quoting?
- For anything substantial, yes. A fixed price given before anyone has looked at the real constraints is a guess dressed up as a commitment.
- What happens after launch?
- Most product clients keep us on as their development partner, because a shipped product generates more work than an unshipped one. That is a choice rather than a condition.
